When mixing oils you should always use a carrier oil with a top, middle, and base note to balance the blend.
Base Note – Is your foundation.
Middle Note – Will balance the blend.
Top Note – Is the first thing you will smell, it is the strongest.
Here is a mixture of my favorite essential oils. You can use this as a guide to come up with your own favorite blends.
1/2 cup Jojoba Oil
1 cup Olive Oil
15-20 drops lavender oil
13 drops jasmine oil
5-10 drops frankincense oil
Shake well, store in container of your choice and store in cool dark space to decrease oxidation. Has long shelf life.
Add 5 drops rosemary oil or tea tree oil to cleanser or mask.
Benefit: Helps to prevent pimples and decrease oil production.
Dry/ Mature Skin
Add 5 drops rose oil to cleanser and moisturizer.
Benefit: Gives youthful glow and improves moisture in skin.
Essential Oil Serum
1/2 cup jojoba oil
5 drops neroli oil
5 drops lavender
5 drops rosemary
3 drops rose oil
1/2 tsp. cornstarch make it less greasy.
Shake well, store in container of your choice and store in cool dark space to decrease oxidation. Use a needed.
